Born and raised in Central Louisiana, Jessica came to the Run Wild team in March 2012. She brings with her experience from another local specialty run store in Conway, Arkansas. Jessica was a competitive power lifter in high school and earned a black belt in Taekwondo growing up. At 14, she also learned to play the guitar (though she’s admittedly rusty these days). She graduated from LSMSA in Natchitoches and in 2011 earned her BA in Psychology from Hendrix College in Arkansas before returning home to Louisiana.
She shares Run Wild’s passion to help Central Louisiana find what moves them. Jessica enjoys a fairly new hobby - riding her road bike. Her only lament is that she can’t listen to music while riding. She considers herself the dorky kid on the Run Wild team and loves it. She’s ready to guide you through every techy gadget in the store and drop some fun facts along the way.
A Louisiana girl, Amber brought her love for the outdoors and adventure to the Run Wild team in June 2012. She is a 2011 graduate of Louisiana College with a B.A. in Management/Marketing.
Playing high school softball & basketball positioned Amber as catcher for the Lady Wildcats. She is the recipient of the National Player of the Week Award: NCAA Division III NFCA, was awarded All-Conference honors & the Sportsmanship Award.
Amber has a passion for mission work, both locally & internationally. She loves CrossFit, adventure races & half-marathons and is an advocate for the health and well-being of those in CenLA. In her spare time she enjoys hitting the trails on her bike. Amber appreciates opportunities to serve the local community. Run Wild is blessed to have Amber's wit, talent and work ethic.
