Run Wild
EST. 2003
Since that beautiful, crisp day in December 2003, our commitment and energies hold true: to create a more fitness minded community for us to live and grow.
This commitment and energies involve:
When Run Wild opened its doors in 2003 the CENLA fitness calendar was meek. Our team has put forth much effort to bring running and fitness to the forefront of the minds of those living in our community.
The owners travel around the country attending industry meetings and participating in running/triathlon events of all distances. On every travel, they visit the area's running stores to ensure that CENLA's only fitness minded shoppe has the most quaint atmosphere, current product offerings and a genuinely caring & knowledgeable staff.
To date, we are confident our commitment and energies are alive and strong!
In 2010, Run Wild donated over $21,000 to local events and organizations, including Turning Point Shelter, Hope House, Komen Alexandria Race for the Cure, Cabrini Cancer Center & Pink Ribbon Club, First United Methodist Preschool, Prompt Succor and Central Louisiana Foodbank, just to mention a few.
In addition, our team volunteered consulting services, donated use of race equipment & gear and gave countless volunteer hours working on special events and projects for other local organizations.
Owners, Don and Elizabeth practice what they preach. To live a fitness lifestyle you MUST take an active role in whole heartedly supporting the community in which you live, work and raise a family.
